Risk assessment of portfolios of securities for different types of investors

Abstract:

Diplomová práce pojednává o investování do portfolií cenných papírů rozdělených podle investorova přístupu k riziku a složených z podílových fondů dostupných na trhu. V teoretické části jsou popsány základní pojmy s investováním spojené, jednotlivé investiční instrumenty nacházející se na trhu a analýzy sloužící k rozpoznání vhodných investičních nástrojů. Dále jsou zde uvedeny vzorce pro výpočty jednotlivých parametrů týkajících se investic. V praktické části jsou vytvořena modelová portfolia rozdělená podle rizikovosti a k nim je predikován jejich budoucí vývoj. Závěrem jsou porovnány skutečné hodnoty s hodnotami odhadnutými a také jsou komparována jednotlivá portfolia mezi sebou.

Abstract:

Diploma thesis deals with investing in securities portfolio divided by investor's attitude to risk and composed of mutual funds available on the market. The basic concepts associated with investment, individual investment instruments which can be found on the market and analysis used to identify suitable investment instruments are described in the theoretical part. Furthermore, there are presented calculations formulas of individual parameters related to investments in this thesis. Model portfolios are created and divided by risk and future development is predicted for each portfolio in the practical part. Finally, the actual values are compared to the estimated values and portfolios are confronted with each other.
