Stress and psychohygiene of teacher at the kindergarten

Abstract:

Učitelé v předškolním vzdělávání provázejí stresové situace celý jeho profesní život. Každý nedokáže vždy a lehce zvládnout třídu dětí nebo odpovídajícím způsobem reagovat na neočekávanou situaci. V boji se stresem je nutné určit jeho příčiny, naučit se vládnout různými postupy a technikami a bránit tak prevencí vzniku, dnes tak velmi rozšířeného, syndromu vyhoření. Bakalářská práce se snaží objasnit podstatu a prevenci stresu, podstatu a význam možné nápravy psychohygienou, navrhuje různé zvládnutelné postupy a užitečné techniky pro učitele, a to jak při výkonu své profese, tak při zvládání své mentality i životních souvislostí. V praktické části byl realizován kvantitativní výzkum pomocí nestandardizovaného dotazníku vlastní konstrukce. Výzkumným vzorek byl zvolen záměrný výběr pracujících pedagogů v předškolním vzdělávání. Hlavním cílem výzkumu bylo zmapování subjektivních postojů učitelů v mateřské škole k vnímání stresu, stresorů a duševní hygieny. Prvním dílčím cílem bylo odpovědět na otázku, zda má vnímaný stres učitelů v mateřské škole návaznost na výkon povolání. Druhým dílčím cílem bylo zjistit nejpreferovanější druhy psychohygieny učiteli v mateřské škole.

Abstract:

Teachers in pre-school education are subjected to stressful situations through out their professional life. Not everyone can always easily handle a class of children or respond appropriately to an unexpected situation. In the fight against stress, it is necesery to determine the causes and to learn to control it by different procedures and techniques and to prevent the development of burnout syndrome. The bachelor thesis seeks to clarify the prevention of stress, and the importance of mental hygiene, design various manageable practises and useful techniques for teachers, both in the performance of their profession and life contexts. On the practical side of things, a quantitative research was carried out using a non-standardized questionnaire of it's own design. A deliberate selection of working teachers in early childhood education were chosen by the research sample. The main goal of the research was to map the subjective attitudes of teachers in kindergarden to the perception of stress and mental hygiene. The first sub-objective was to answer the question of whether the perceived stress of teachers in kindergarden has a link to the performance of the profession. The second sub-goal was to identify the most preferred types of mental hygiene by teachers in kindergarden.
