Zoorehabilitation of Children with Autistic Spectrum Disorder

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá tématem zoorehabilitace u dětí s poruchou autistického spektra. Práce se skládá z části teoretické a praktické. Teoretická část popisuje poruchy autistického spektra, jejich diagnostiku, typologii a léčbu. Dále se teoretická část věnuje tématu zoorehabilitace, její historii, jednotlivým formám a také tomu, jaký má zoorehabilitace význam v ergoterapii. Praktická část je provedena formou dotazníků a pěti kazuistik. Dále je v praktické části zmíněna metodika sběru dat, cílům práce a vyhodnocení anketního šetření. Z tohoto anketního šetření vyplývá, že nejlepší výsledky přináší delfinoterapie. Další v pořadí se umístila hipoterapie, pak canisterapie a jako poslední felinoterapie. Většině klientů zoorehabilitace se zlepšil psychický stav, snížila se míra úzkostí, agrese, zlepšila se komunikace s okolím a reakce na nové prostředí. Díky zoorehabilitaci se také snížila úroveň stresu v rodině a zlepšil se psychický stav.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with the topic of zoorehabilitation of children with autistic spectrum disorder. The work consists of theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part describes autism spectrum disorders, their diagnosis, typology and treatment. Furthermore, the theoretical part deals with the topic of zoorehabilitation, its history, individual forms and also what is the importance of zoorehabilitation in occupational therapy. The practical part is done in the form of questionnaires and five case studies. Furthermore, the practical part mentions the methodology of data collection, work objectives and evaluation of the survey. This survey shows that the bestresults are obtained by dolphintherapy. Next in line was hippotherapy, then canistherapy and lastly feline therapy. Most clients of zoorehabilitation have improved their mental state, their levels of anxiety and agression, communication with their surroundings and reactions to the new environment have improved. Thanks to zoorehabilitation, the level of stress in the family was also reduced and the mental state improved.
