Analysis of education in accounting of insurance companies

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se věnuje vzdělávání a rozvoji zaměstnanců. Cílem práce je analyzovat možnosti vzdělávání na trhu ve specifické oblasti účetnictví, a to účtování pojišťoven, a navrhnout možné způsoby vzdělávání v této oblasti. Práce je rozdělena do dvou částí, teoretické a praktické. V teoretické části je popsán systém vzdělávání zaměstnanců, objasněna strategie rozvoje a vzdělávání, vysvětleny některé pojmy, charakterizovány cíle firemního vzdělávání, jednotlivé fáze procesu vzdělávání a používané metody. Rovněž je objasněna důležitost vyhodnocování vzdělávání včetně posuzování efektivity vzdělávacích metod, kdy jsou uvedeny používané modely pro vyhodnocování a popsána aplikace konkrétních metod. V praktické části je nejprve představen pojistný trh v České republice a stručně popsána problematika účetnictví pojišťoven. Dále jsou zpracovány výsledky dotazníkového šetření realizovaného mezi členy České asociace pojišťoven. Úkolem šetření bylo získat primární data vztahující se k oblasti vzdělávání zaměstnanců pojišťoven v oblasti účetnictví. Výstupy tohoto šetření jsou pak analyzovány a na základě vyhodnocení dotazníkového šetření jsou navržena doporučení možných způsobů vzdělávání v této oblasti.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis is devoted to education and development of employees. The aim of the thesis is to analyze the possibilities of education on the market in a specific area of accounting, namely the accounting of insurance companies, and to suggest possible ways of education in this area. The thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part describes the system of employee education, clarified the strategy of development and education, explained some concepts, characterized the objectives of corporate education, the various stages of the education process and the used methods. It also clarifies the importance of evaluating education, including assessing the effectiveness of educational methods, which lists the models used for evaluation and describes the application of specific methods. In the practical part is first introduced insurance market in the Czech Republic and briefly described the issue of insurance companies. Furthermore, the results of a questionnaire survey conducted among the members of the Czech Insurance Association are processed. The task of the investigation was to obtain primary data relating to the area of education of accounting employees from insurance companies. The outcomes of this survey are then analyzed and based on the evaluation of the questionnaire, recommendations for possible ways of education in this area are proposed.
