Significance of beer within gastronomy and wellness

Abstract:

Pivo je jedním z nejoblíbenějších nápojů na našem území. Česká republika se pravidelně umísťuje na předních příčkách v jeho konzumaci. Bakalářská práce se zabývá významem piva v gastronomii a lázeňství. Zkoumá otázku použití piva při snoubení s pokrmy již hotovými, stejně jako použití piva v kuchyni při výrobě samotných pokrmů. Věnuje se také vlivu piva na lidský organismus z pohledu jeho konzumování i použití v pivních lázních jako přísada do pivních koupelí. Cílem této práce je poukázat na využití piva v gastronomii a zjistit, zda je v současné době dostatečně využívané při snoubení s pokrmy i v kuchyni. Dalším cílem je zjistit a upozornit na vliv konzumace piva na lidský organismus. Třetím a posledním cílem je poukázat na to, zda pivo má skutečný vliv na lidský organismus při použití v pivních koupelích. Má práce obsahuje historii piva, jeho výrobu a jeho výskyt v gastronomii a lázeňství. Poukazuji na jeho využití v gastronomii, lázeňství a jeho vliv pro organismus člověka. Veškeré informace jsem čerpala především z osobních rozhovorů s pivovarníky, gastronomy a lékaři. Dále pak z odborných knih, periodik a vlastních zkušeností z oboru pivovarnictví a pivní lázeňství.

Abstract:

Beer is one of the most favourite drinks in the Czech Republic. Czech Republic is regularly rank as country with the highest consumption of beer in the world. This Bachelor´s Dissertation deal with the importace of beer in gastronomy and wellness. The thesis is about matching beer with food and also about using the beer in the kitchen for preparing a meal. In this thesis I also wanted to find out the effect of consumption of beer on the human body. The last part of this thesis is about beer wellness and it´s effect on the human body. The purpose of this Bachelor´s Dissertation is to find out whether matching beer with food and also preparing the food with beer are used in the restaurants in these days. Another purpose is to highlight the influence of beer consumption on the human body. The final purpose is to identify whether beer has any effect on human body in the beer bath. In this thesis I briefly explain the history of beer, the brewing process and it´s use in gastronomy and wellness. I show the use of beer in gastronomy, wellness and it´s effect on the human body. All the information I gathered mainly from personal interviews with brewers, people in the gastronomy and doctors. Furthermore from the books, periodicals and my own experiences with the brewing and the beer wellness.
