Bakalářská práce se zabývá charakteristikou, historickým vývojem a současným rozšířením elektrické trakce v městském provozu v České republice i ve světě. Jejím cílem je posoudit provozní a ekonomické aspekty využití elektrické trakce. Zaměřuje se na tramvaj a trolejbus, zmiňuje však i ostatní systémy včetně kombinovaných a nekonvenčních. Abstract:
Bachelor's thesis focuses on characteristics, history and contemporary distribution of electric traction both in the Czech Republic and worldwide. The goal of the thesis is to assess operational and economical aspects of the utilization of the electric traction.
