Analysis of the storing in ŠKODA AUTO Parts Center

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá analýzou skladování v logistickém centru náhradních dílů a příslušenství společnosti ŠKODA AUTO a.s. Cílem této práce je vyhodnocení nedávného zavedení automatizovaného skladu do procesu skladování v ŠKODA Parts Centru. Práce je rozdělená do dvou částí teoretické a praktické. V teoretické části jsou vymezeny pojmy pro snazší orientaci, jelikož tyto pojmy jsou nezbytnou součástí praktické části. A také je možno v této části nalézt prvky logistického řetězce, které se vyskytují v analyzovaném centru. Úvod praktické části je tvořen z představení společnosti a logistického centra. Následně dochází k popisu skladových operací, které se ve skladu odehrávají, k objasnění důvodů vybudování nového automatizovaného skladu a závěrem k porovnání skladování a vychystávání dílů a příslušenství v současnosti.

Abstract:

This Bachelor's Thesis deals with the analysis of spare parts and equipment storing in the logistic center of the ŠKODA AUTO corp. The purpose of this paper is the evaluation of the storing process focused on recent installation of the automatic warehouse at the ŠKODA Parts Center. The paper is divided into theoretical and practical sections. The theoretic part defines concepts in order to provide an easier orientation, as these concepts are essential components of the practical section. In addition, the elements of the logistic string are also to be found in the theoretical part, these elements appear in the analytic centre. The structure of the practical section is built on the introduction of the company and its logistic centre. Consecutively, the thorough description of the storing operations, which are performed in the warehouse, is being explained, this is followed by a further clarification of purpose of building new automatic warehouse. In conclusion, the comparison between current storing and arranging of parts as well as equipment is appropriately drawn.
