Abstract:
Bakalářská práce se zabývá českým etnikem v USA na přelomu 19. a 20. století. Je zde popsáno vystěhovalectví z českých zemí, průběh osídlování a život české menšiny na území Spojených států amerických. V práci je také vylíčeno etnické cítění a vztahy s dalšími národnostmi.
Abstract:
This bachelor thesis is dealing with Czech minority in USA at the turn of the 19th and 20th century. There is described in general the migration from Czech country to the new homeland. From the reasons which led the concerned individuals to abandon their fatherland, all the way to the migration processes on Ellis island.
