Perception of the position of the school special teacher by the teaching staff

Abstract:

Cílem této bakalářské práce je teoreticky seznámit čtenáře s profesí školního speciálního pedagoga v pedagogickém sboru a v rámci výzkumného šetření zjistit postoje vybraných pedagogických pracovníků k pozici školního speciálního pedagoga a identifikovat spolupráci pedagogického sboru se školním speciálním pedagogem v procesu inkluzivního vzdělávání na vybraných základních školách. Výzkumným vzorkem bylo šest pedagogických pracovníků (třídní učitelé a jejich asistenti pedagoga) tří základních škol s ukotvenou pracovní pozicí školního speciálního pedagoga na plný pracovní úvazek. Jako výzkumná metoda byly použity polostrukturované rozhovory a výzkum byl vyhodnocen pomocí otevřeného kódování a techniky vyložení karet. Hlavním zjištěním výzkumného šetření byl postoj pedagogických pracovníků ohledně pozice školního speciálního pedagoga na základní škole jako klíčové v kontextu inkluzivního vzdělávání. Dalšími zkoumanými tématy byly očekávání pedagogických pracovníků vůči školnímu speciálnímu pedagogovi, jejich profesní vztah, formy a vnímání vzájemné spolupráce, časový prostor ke spolupráci a vzdělávání vedením školy ohledně spolupráce.

Abstract:

The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to theoretically familiarize the reader with the profession of a school special educator in the teaching staff and, as part of a research investigation, to find out the attitudes of selected teaching staff towards the position of a school special educator and to identify the cooperation of the teaching staff with the school special educator in the process of inclusive education in selected primary schools. The research sample consisted of six teaching staff (classroom teachers and their teaching assistants) of three primary schools with a fixed full-time job position as a school special pedagogue. Semi-structured interviews were used as the research method and the research was evaluated using open coding and card-layout techniques. The main finding of the research investigation was the attitude of the teaching staff regarding the position of the school special educator in primary school as a key one in the context of inclusive education. Other investigated topics were the expectations of teaching staff towards the school's special educator, their professional relationship, forms and perceptions of mutual cooperation, time space for cooperation and education by the school management regarding cooperation.
