Analysis of the project "Children at the start"

Abstract:

Úvod: práce je věnována celonárodnímu projektu "Děti na startu", jehož cílem je přivést děti ve věku čtyři až devět let k pravidelné pohybové aktivitě. V teoretické části jsou definovány pojmy týkající se pohybu, determinantů zdraví, zdravotní gramotnosti a managementu sportu. V praktické části je analyzován projekt "Děti na startu" z metodických východisek, z pohledu statistiky, financí a uplatnění v praxi. Součástí výchovy ke zdraví je důležitá návaznost na populaci dospělých a seniorů, proto jsou stručně popsány konkrétní projekty cílené na prevenci a podporu zdraví v těchto věkových skupinách. Do poslední části práce je zařazen přehled příspěvků zdravotních pojišťoven, které lze získat na prevenci a podporu zdraví. Cíl práce: cílem práce je zhodnocení a analýza projektu "Děti na startu" z pohledu metodiky, statistiky, možností zapojení do praxe a navazujících aktivit u dětí. V návaznosti jsou definovány možnosti aktivit v dospělé populaci a jejich podpory zdravotními pojišťovnami. Metodika: první metodou byla zvolena obsahová analýza, kdy byly získány údaje z pohledu statistiky, financí a možností uplatnění v praxi. Jako druhá metoda byl použit kvalitativní rozhovor. V rámci práce byly osloveny tři respondentky. Hlavní manažerka FISAF a dvě hlavní trenérky sportovních klubů zapojených do projektu "Děti na startu" jako střediska. Rozhovory probíhaly osobně na základě otázek a volnou formou. Výsledky: byly identifikovány faktory podporující vznik nových středisek, možnosti jejich podpory a spolupráce s FISAF. Dále byly popsány varianty navazujících pohybových aktivit v dospělém věku a možnosti příspěvků zdravotních pojišťoven na různé formy pohybu. V diskusi byla porovnána dvě střediska z pohledu aktivního zapojení do projektu, z pohledu managementu a z hlediska financí. Závěr: projekt "Děti na startu" splňuje požadavky kladené na podporu a rozvoj pohybových aktivit v dětském věku, které jsou celoživotně důležitým předpokladem pro prevenci a podporu zdraví.

Abstract:

Introduction: the thesis is devoted to the national project "Children on the Start", which aims to bring children aged four to nine years to regular physical activity. The theoretical part defines concepts related to movement, determinants of health, health literacy and sport management. In the practical part, the project "Children at the Start" is analysed from a methodological point of view, in terms of statistics, finances and practical application. Health education includes an important link to the adult and senior population, so specific projects aimed at prevention and health promotion in these age groups are briefly described. The last part of the paper includes an overview of health insurance contributions that can be obtained for prevention and health promotion. Aim of the thesis: the aim of the thesis is to evaluate and analyse the project "Children at the Start" in terms of methodology, statistics, possibilities of involvement in practice and follow-up activities in children. In the follow-up, the possibilities of activities in the adult population and their support by health insurance companies are defined. Methodology: the first method chosen was content analysis, where data were collected in terms of statistics, finances and possibilities for practice. Qualitative interview was used as the second method. Three respondents were interviewed as part of the work. The main manager of FISAF and two head coaches of sports clubs involved in the project "Children at the Start" as centres. The interviews were conducted in person based on questions and in a free form. Results: factors supporting the establishment of new centres, possibilities of their support and cooperation with FISAF were identified. Furthermore, the options for follow-up physical activities in adulthood and the possibilities of health insurance contributions for different forms of exercise were described. In the discussion, two centres were compared in terms of active involvement in the project, in terms of management and in terms of finances. Conclusion: the project 'Children at the Start' meets the requirements for the promotion and development of physical activity in childhood, which is a lifelong prerequisite for prevention and health promotion.
