The current trends of regulation and supervision in the banking sector

Abstract:

Cílem mé bakalářské práce je problematika současných tendencí vývoje systému regulace a dohledu v bankovním sektoru a aspektů mající vliv na systém regulace v bankovnictví. Na konkrétních případech bank obecně nastíňuji, co rozumíme pod pojmem krize důvěry, krize likvidity finančního systému, a proč si myslíme, že jsou dnes banky jedním z hlavních strůjců probíhající ekonomické a hospodářské krize. Nejprve vycházím z historických souvislostí a skutečností, které podrobuji důsledné kritické analýze a komparaci v rámci jednotlivých významných aspektů regulací v bankovním sektoru. Dále probírám danou problematiku z pohledu právního a ekonomického vymezení, jenž implikují predikce možných variant dalšího vývoje a nástinu možných směrů, kam by se mohla aktuální situace posouvat a dále vyvíjet v oblasti bankovní regulace. V aplikační části se věnuji praktickým aspektům a přístupům k bankovní regulaci v jednotlivých typech finančních systémů a některé výstupy praktické části jsou zapracovány do závěrů a konkrétních zjištění.

Abstract:

The goal of my bachelor thesis is the current trends of regulation and supervision in the banking sector and aspects affecting the regulation of the banking system. In specific cases, banks in general outline, what we mean by a crisis of confidence, the liquidity crisis of the financial system, and why we think that today banks one of the main architects of the current economic and economic crisis. The practical part deals with practical aspects and approaches to banking regulation in the various types of financial systems and the practical part of some outputs are incorporated into the specific findings and conclusions. First, start from the historical context and facts, which would subject to rigorous critical analysis and comparison of the various important aspects of regulation in the banking sector. Furthermore, we discuss the issue on legal and economic definition, which means that the prediction of possible options for further development and outline possible directions, which could push the current situation and further develop the field of banking regulation.
