Analysis of the Competitiveness of the Janek, s. r .o. Company

Abstract:

Tématem bakalářské práce je "Analýza konkurenceschopnosti podniku Janek spol. s r. o." Cílem této práce je analyzovat podnik metodami strategické a finanční analýzy pro zhodnocení jeho úspěšnosti vzhledem k jeho konkurentům. Práce je rozdělena na dvě základní části. Nejprve je v části teoretické pojednáno obecně o konkurenci, konkurenceschopnosti, metodách finanční a strategické analýzy, jejich nástrojích a účelu. V praktické části jsou metody aplikovány na zvolený podnik. Strategická analýza mikrookolí je postavena na metodách benchmarkingu a Porterově modelu pěti sil. Analýza makrookolí je založena na metodě PEST. Finanční situace je hodnocena na základě horizontální a vertikální analýzy a poměrových ukazatelů. Shrnutí poznatků praktické části je provedeno pomocí metody SWOT. Závěr práce obsahuje nejdůležitější poznatky a návrhy na případná opatření pro zlepšení konkurenceschopnosti podniku.

Abstract:

The subject matter of this Bachelor thesis is "an analysis of the competiveness of the company Janek s. r. o." The main goal of this thesis is to analyze a company with methods of strategic and financial analysis to estimate its success in comparision to its competitors. The thesis is divided into two main parts. The theoretical part deals with general information about the competition, competitiveness, methods of financial and strategic analysis and about their tools and purpose. These theoretical methods are then applied to a chosen company in the theoretical part of the thesis. The strategic analysis of the micro-environment is built on methods of benchmarking and the Porter's model of five forces. The analysis of the macro-environment is based on the PEST method. The financial situation is reviewed on the basis of horizontal and vertical analysis and ratios. The summary of the practical part is done through the SWOT method. The conclusion of the thesis includes findings and suggestions for possible measures to improve business competitiveness.
