Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce nazvaná „Champagenské trhy“ se zabývá institucemi vymáhajícími závazky vzniklé při obchodování na Champagenských trzích – jednom z nejdůležitějších center středověkého obchodu. Důraz je kladen převážně na 12. a 13. století, která spolu představovala pro tyto trhy nejdůležitější období a zároveň období dlouhodobého růstu. Cílem této práce je popsání mechanismů použitých zde přítomnými institucemi k vynucování závazků; jakou formu tyto instituce ve skutečnosti měly a jakým způsobem byly schopné závazky vymáhat na mezinárodní úrovni.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis called „Champagne fairs“ deals with the institutions enforcing contracts at the Champagne fairs – one of the most important hubs of commerce during the medieval times. The main focus of the analysis takes place during the 12th and 13th century which represent the most important period for the Champagne fairs and in which the fairs experienced a period of constant growth. The goal of the thesis is to describe the mechanisms used by the institutions present at the Champagne fairs in contract enforcement; to describe what form these institutions had and how they managed to enforce contracts on an international scale.
