Cost and income analysis of a family business

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zaměřuje na provedení komplexní finanční analýzy rodinného podniku s cílem posoudit jeho finanční situaci. Je strukturována do dvou hlavních částí: teoretické a praktické. Teoretická část práce se věnuje definici základního teoretického rámce, vycházejícího z relevantní české a zahraniční literatury, zabývající se zkoumanou problematikou. Praktická část práce se zaměřuje na aplikaci teoreticky definovaných metod na konkrétní vybraný podnik a důkladné zhodnocení efektivity všech analytických složek. Cílem je přesné zhodnocení finančního zdraví a výkonnosti podniku a formulování vhodných doporučení pro zlepšení finanční situace. Výsledkem diplomové práce je komplexní hodnocení finanční situace rodinného podniku na základě provedené analýzy a aplikace relevantních metod. Práce přináší přínos jak v teoretické rovině, kde poskytuje kompilaci relevantní literatury, tak v praktické rovině, kde nabízí konkrétní hodnocení finanční situace vybraného podniku spolu s doporučeními ke zlepšení.

Abstract:

The thesis focuses on a comprehensive financial analysis of a family business in order to assess its financial situation. It is structured in two main parts: theoretical and practical. The theoretical part of the thesis is devoted to the definition of the basic theoretical framework, based on relevant Czech and foreign literature. The practical part of the thesis focuses on the application of the theoretically defined methods to a specific selected enterprise and a thorough evaluation of the effectiveness of all analytical components. The aim is to accurately assess the financial health and performance of the enterprise and formulate appropriate recommendations for improving the financial situation. The result of the thesis is a comprehensive assessment of the financial situation of a family business based on the analysis and application of relevant methods. The thesis contributes both at the theoretical level, where it provides a compilation of relevant literature, and at the practical level, where it offers a concrete assessment of the financial situation of the selected enterprise together with recommendations for improvement.
