Abstract:

Mnou vypracovaná diplomová práce se zabývá tématem zastoupení žen v politice, konkrétně v Moravskoslezském kraji. Diplomová práce je zaměřena na politickou participaci žen a jejich prezentování se v politickém životě. Teoretická část reflektuje klíčová teoretická východiska zkoumané problematiky. Zvláštní důraz je kladen na společenské postavení žen, jejich dosažení aktivního a pasivního volebního práva, dále je v práci nastíněn vývoj ženských organizací a spolků, které vytvořily základní kámen k postavení českých žen v dnešní společnosti. V teoretické části lze nalézt také legislativní opatření, která byla a jsou nezbytná k dosažení rovných příležitostí. V kontextu České republiky se diplomová práce také zabývá postavením žen v rozhodovacích funkcích, pozitivním opatřením a politickou perspektivou žen na krajské úrovni. Praktická část zkoumá na základě statistické analýzy konkrétní zastoupení žen v politice v Moravskoslezském kraji. Data vychází z webových stránek českého statistického úřadu a jejich zpracování. Praktická část sumarizuje konkrétní výsledky voleb do zastupitelstev v Moravskoslezském kraji, dále v grafech a tabulkách přehledně zobrazuje výsledky voleb do Poslanecké sněmovny PČR za posledních dvacet let.

Abstract:

My diploma thesis deals with the representation of women in politics, specially in the Moravian-Silesian Region. The thesis is focused on the political participation of women and their presentation in political life. The theoretical part reflects the main theoretical background of the examined issue. Special emphasis is placed on the social status of women, the achievement of active and passive voting rights, further work outlines the development of women?s organizations and associations that formed the foundation stone of the Czech position of women in society today. In the theoretical part can also be found legislative provisions that have been and are necessary for the achievement of equal opportunities. In the kontext of the Czech Republic, the thesis also discusses the status of women in decision-making, positive action and political perspectives of women at the regional level. The practical part deals with a particular representation of women in politics in the Region, based on statistical analysis. Data comes from the website of the Czech Statistical Office and its treatment. The practical section summarizes the specific results of elections in the Moravian-Silesian Region, it also clearly shows, in graphs and tablets, the results of the elections to the Chamber of Deputies for the last twenty years.
