Professional training of pupils of secondary education schools and the view of graduates for their application in the field

Abstract:

Pro svou diplomovou práci jsem si zvolila téma Profesní příprava žáků středních pedagogických škol a pohled absolventů na své uplatnění v oboru. Práce obsahuje část teoretickou i praktickou. V úvodu teoretické části se nejprve zaměřuji na charakteristiku středních pedagogických škol a nabízené pedagogické obory na školách v ČR. Následně vymezím pojmy jako učitel, profese, učitelská profese a profesní příprava. Ze všech nabízených oborů jsem si pro diplomovou práci vybrala obor Předškolní a mimoškolní pedagogika a Pedagogické lyceum. U těchto oborů jsem se zaměřila na to, jaká je charakteristika oboru, profil absolventa, rámcový vzdělávací program pro tyto obory a obsah praxí. V závěru teoretické části jsem zvolila témata spojená s učitelským povoláním a to: kompetence učitele a „učitelské desatero“. V praktické části se zaměřuji na to, abych zjistila, jaké je uplatnění absolventů těchto oborů. Cílem práce je zjistit, zda byli absolventi připraveni na budoucí povolání, co by popřípadě do výuky na střední škole doplnili, jaké vidí výhody a nevýhody tohoto povolání a zda zůstali v oboru, nebo zcela změnili své zaměření.

Abstract:

For my diploma thesis, I have chosen the subject Professional training of pupils of secondary education schools and the view of graduates for their application in the field. The thesis contains a theoretical and practical part. At the beginning of the theoretical part, I first focus on the characteristics of secondary pedagogical schools and the pedagogical courses offered in schools in the Czech Republic. I will then define terms as a teacher, profession, teaching profession, and training. Of all the offered disciplines, I have chosen the pre-school and out-of-school pedagogy and the pedagogical lyceum for my diploma thesis. In these fields, I have focused on the characteristics of the field, the profile of the graduate, the framework educational program for these fields and the content of the practice. At the end of the theoretical part, I chose topics related to the teaching profession, namely: the teacher's competences and the „teacher ten“. In the practical part, I aim to find out how the application of graduates of these disciplines. The aim of the thesis is to find out how the graduates were ready for their future profession, what they would add to the secondary school education, what they see as the advantages and disadvantages of the profession and whether they stayed in the field or changed their focus completely.
