Ethical issues in tourism-related cultural differences tourists and possibilities of their prevention

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá etickými problémy v cestovním ruchu, které souvisí s odlišnostmi v řecké kultuře a možnostmi jejich předcházení. Cílem této práce je analyzovat rozdíly ve znalostech o řecké společnosti, její kultuře a chování a konfrontovat je s českou kulturou. V první části své diplomové práce jsem vymezila a následně vysvětlila pojmy, které velmi úzce souvisí s tématem. Definuji základní pojmy týkající se cestovního ruchu, kultury a etiky. V části druhé analyzuji řeckou kulturu a vymezuji její normy, hodnoty a služby cestovního ruchu v této zemi. Zdůvodňuji zde také svůj primární výzkum, který jsem pro práci využila. Jedná se o výzkum metodou dotazníkového šetření, ve kterém jsem se zaměřila na otázky týkající se etických problémů ve službách v cestovním ruchu v Řecku. Snažila jsem se získat informace od příslušníků české kultury, kteří již Řeckou republiku navštívili. V části návrhové zpracovávám své poznatky, které jsem touto prací získala a navrhuji řešení k předcházení problémů v této problematice.

Abstract:

This Master´s Dissertation deals with ethical issues in tourism related to differences in the Greek culture and the possibilities of prevention. The aim of this work is to analyze the differences in knowledge of Greek society, its culture and behavior and to confront them with Czech culture. In the first part of Master´s Dissertation I defined and then explained the concepts that are closely related to the topic. Defines the basic concepts related to tourism, culture and ethics. The second part will analyze the Greek culture and define the norms, values and tourism services in the country. There is also substantiate its primary research, which I use for work. It is a research method of questionnaire survey, in which I focused on issues related to ethical issues on tourism in Greece. I tried to get information from members of the Czech culture who have visited the Hellenic Republic. In the design process their knowledge that I gained in this work suggest a solution to this issue.
