Development of a scoring model based on fuzzy rules for Syrian Microfinance sector

Abstract:
the thesis proposes a modified credit scoring model based om fuzzy rules. the rules are derived from real loan portfolio data set using genetic algorithms. the advantage of such model is its simplicity and thus it should be usable even in the environment of Microfinancial institutions.
