Knowledge Discovery in Databases on the Data of Rohde & Schwarz Vimperk plant, Ltd.

Abstract:

Rohde & Schwarz závod Vimperk, s.r.o. produkuje špičkové přístroje jako osciloskopy, signální generátory nebo spektrální analyzátory. Tato zařízení jsou tvořena jednou nebo více DPS (deska plošných spojů), které jsou zde osazovány. Právě data z oddělení osazování DPS jsou předmětem analýzy. Ve své práci se zaměřuji na hledání vztahu mezi daty z osazovací linky pro jednotlivé DPS a chybami těchto DPS v pozdějším průběhu produkčního procesu. V jednotlivých fázích metodiky CRISP-DM je rozepsán postup od porozumění byznysu a zisku relevantních dat po prezentaci a zhodnocení výsledků.

Abstract:

The Rohde & Schwarz Vimperk plant, Ltd. produces high-end devices such as oscilloscopes, signal generators or spectrum analyzers. These devices consist of one or more PCBs (printed circuit boards), which are assembled here. It is the data from the PCB Assembly department that are the subject of the analysis. This work is focused on finding a relationship between data from the assembly lines for individual PCBs and errors of these PCBs in following production process. In phases of the CRISP-DM methodology, a process starting with understanting the business and acquisition of relevant data and ending with an evaluation of results is described.
