The seed coat thickness in the context of seed predation by granivorous ground beetles (Coleoptera, Carabidae)
Abstract:
Práce studovala tloušťku osemení semen několika druhů rostlin. Cílem bylo zjistit, na základě známých potravních preferencí dvou granivorních střevlíků Harpalus affinis a Pseudoophonus rufipes, zákonitosti a případný trend v tloušťce osemení vybraných a podle oblíbenosti seřazených druhů rostlin.
Abstract:
Research studied the seed coat thickness of seeds of some plant species. The aim was to detect pattern and trend of seed coat thickness of selected and ordered plant species on the basis of known food preferences of two granivorous ground beetles Harpalus affinis and Pseudoophonus rufipes.
