Business Model of Kosher Services in Prague

Abstract:

Cílem bakalářské práce je popsat a analyzovat současnou nabídku košer služeb v Praze. Pozornost je věnována zejména identifikaci klíčových prvků business modelů v těchto odvětvích. Teoretická část práce obsahuje vymezení business modelu, pozadí židovského cestování, košer turismus a s ním spojená specifika. Další část práce si klade za cíl shromáždit informace o struktuře business modelu vybraných košer zařízení. Zvolená metoda výzkumu se opírá o polostrukturované hloubkové rozhovory se zástupci daných podniků. Důraz je kladen na hlavní aspekty business modelu, které ovlivňují fungování těchto zařízení. Analytický přístup práce se zaměřuje na tvorbu obecného business modelu a identifikaci silných stránek, slabých stránek, příležitostí a hrozeb prostřednictvím SWOT analýzy. Výsledkem je identifikace klíčových charakteristik prostřednictvím modelu Canvas, které mohou pozitivně ovlivnit konkurenceschopnost a úspěch poskytovatelů košer služeb na trhu.

Abstract:

The major object of the bachelor thesis is to describe and analyze the current offer of kosher services in Prague. Attention is particularly focused on identifying key elements of business models within these industries. The theoretical part of the thesis includes defining the business model, the background of Jewish travel, kosher tourism, and associated specifics. Another part of the thesis aims to gather information about the structure of the business model of selected kosher establishments. The chosen research method relies on semi-structured in-depth interviews with representatives of these businesses. Emphasis is placed on the main aspects of the business model that influence the functioning of these establishments. The analytical approach of the thesis focuses on developing a general business model and identifying strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats through SWOT analysis. The result is the identification of key characteristics through the Canvas model, which can positively impact the competitiveness and success of kosher service providers in the market.
