The bachelor's thesis will focus on the topic of public libraries, reading and readership in the socio-cultural context of Czechoslovakia between 1918 and 1938. The theoretical part will be devoted to public librarianship and readership in relation to the development of the cultural interests of Czechoslovakian society during that period.
