Evaluation of the offer of social housing for people with mental disabilities in Ostrava

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá tématem zhodnocení nabídky sociálního bydlení pro osoby s mentálním postižením v Ostravě. Cílem diplomové práce je zjistit, jak na problematiku řešení bydlení pro osoby s mentálním postižením nahlíží zástupci z řad aktérů (experti), kteří se podílí na utváření agendy sociálního bydlení ve městě Ostrava. Teoretická část práce se zaměřuje na základní pojmosloví související s mentálním postižením, bydlení osob s mentálním postižením, sociální bydlení v Ostravě a jeho vymezení, plánování a řešení. Výzkumná část diplomové práce je zaměřena na zástupce z řad aktérů, kteří se podílejí na tvorbě agendy sociálního bydlení v městě Ostrava. Skrze realizaci polostrukturovaných rozhovorů chceme zjistit, jak nahlížejí na problematiku řešení v oblasti bydlení pro osoby s mentálním postižením v Ostravě. Pro získání hloubkového popisu a vhledu do zkoumané problematiky je využita kvalitativní výzkumná strategie.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the evaluation of social housing offer for people with mental disabilities in Ostrava. The main aim of this thesis is to find out how the housing problematics for people with mental disabilities is viewed by representatives of the actors (experts), who are involved in shaping the agenda of social housing in the city of Ostrava. The theoretical part primary focuses on basic terminology related to mental disability, housing of people with mental disabilities, social housing in Ostrava and its definition, planning and solution. The research part of the thesis is focused on representatives of the actors, who participate in the agenda creation of social housing in the city of Ostrava. Through conducting semi-structured interviews, we want to find out, how they view the housing solution problematics for people with mental disabilities in Ostrava. A qualitative research strategy is used to obtain an in-depth description and insight into the subject matter.
