Bank and Financial Sector Vulnerability Evoked by the Financial Crisis

Abstract:

V práci je popsána zranitelnost bankovního a finančního sektoru vyvolaná finanční krizí se zaměřením se na právě probíhající světovou finanční krizi. Pro zhodnocení tohoto tématu jsou využity poznatky z empirického průzkumu provedeného mezi pracovníky finančního sektoru.. V první kapitole jsou vysvětleny základní pojmy (kritická infrastruktura, její prvky, zranitelnost, hrozba, riziko, ochrana kritické infrastruktury) a historie vzniku. Druhá kapitola je zaměřena právě na bankovní a finanční sektor a s tím související finanční krizi. Ve třetí kapitole je zhodnocen dotazníkový průzkum a ve čtvrté kapitole jsou návrhy a doporučení pro zlepšení situace v bankovním a finančním sektoru.

Abstract:

The thesis describes bank and financial sector vulnerability evoked by the financial crisis with focusing just on actual world financial crisis. In analyse there is used knowledge of empirical survey made among the financial sector worker. In the chapter one the basic terms (critical infrastructure, elements, vulnerability, threat, risk, critical infrastructure protection) and the history are explained. The chapter two focuses on bank and financial sector which is related to the actual financial crisis. The chapter three rewiews questionnaire survey and the chapter four contains the concepts and the recommendations for improvement of situation in bank and financial sector.
