Abstract:
Obchodní dům Brouk a Babka byl jednou z prvních moderních funkcionalistických staveb v Moravské Ostravě. Tato práce se zaobírá jak složitým stavebním vývojem budovy, který byl plný drobných i zásadních přestaveb a rekonstrukcí, tak osobou architekta Karla kotase, který je neprávem opomíjenou osobností československé meziválečné architektury. Abstract:
The Brouk a Babka department store is one of the earliest functionalist building in Moravská Ostrava. This thesis is focus on complicated development, which was full of completions and recontructions - some of them were small, some essential.
