Causa: Machaty's Extase and Film Censorship
Abstract:
Tato práce se věnuje filmové cenzuře ve třicátých letech minulého století. Na příkladu Machatého Extase coby jediného mezinárodně úspěšného československého filmu tohoto období komparuje cenzurní praxe v Československu, Rakousku, Německu, Itálii a USA.
Abstract:
This thesis is focused on film censorship in 1930s. The film of Gustav Machaty Extase (Ecstasy) was chosen as an example of the only one successful czechoslovak film of this period for comparison the different censorship styles in Czechoslovakia, Austria, Germany, Italy and USA.
