Analysis of the town Poděbrady as a Destination of Travel Bustle.

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na analýzu města Poděbrady jako destinaci cestovního ruchu. Cílem této bakalářské práce je sestavení přehledu o cestovním ruchu ve městě Poděbrady a navržení řešení na zlepšení služeb pro posílení rozvoje cestovního ruchu, která vzejdou z analýzy současného stavu, provedené formou dotazníkového šetření a zjištěných statistických údajů. Výzkumným problémem práce je otázka, zda je město Poděbrady připraveno, za využití veškerého potenciálu, které městu přinášejí přírodní, technické, historické a kulturní atraktivity města a jeho bezprostředního okolí, najít a odhalit další možné rezervy ve zlepšení nabídky služeb návštěvníkům Poděbrad a zvyšování cestovního ruchu. Při psaní práce byly použity metody analýzy, deskripce jednotlivých atraktivit města Poděbrady a statistického zpracování dat. Rovněž bylo použito metody komparace v případě některých atraktivit. Pro účely zjištění dalších zajímavých informací byla zvolena metoda empirického průzkumu, dotazování - sběru primárních dat, realizovaná formou dotazníkového šetření, telefonického dotazování a řízeného rozhovoru. První teoreticko-metodologická část práce se zabývá vymezením teoretických pojmů, které souvisejí s cestovním ruchem. V této části je uveden a vymezen pojem cestovního ruchu a jeho stručná historie vážící se k městu Poděbrady, jeho druhy a formy a především předpoklady rozvoje cestovního ruchu. Analytická část je vypracovaná na základě analýzy a dostupných statistických údajů. Statistické údaje byly znázorněny do tabulek a grafů pro přehlednější orientaci. Tato část se zabývá zhodnocením nabídky cestovního ruchu v Poděbradech a seznámením se s atraktivitami tohoto města a jeho okolí. Jsou zhodnocena ubytovací a stravovací zařízení, dopravní dostupnost a možnosti využití volného času. Návrhová část obsahuje nedostatky zjištěného stavu a současně návrhy a doporučení, které by mohly vést ke zlepšení služeb v oblasti cestovního ruchu ve městě.

Abstract:

This Bachelor's Degree work is focused on an analysis of the town of Poděbrady as a tourism destination. The aim of this work is to present an overview of tourism in Poděbrady and to propose solutions for improving services in order to boost the development of tourism based on an analysis of the current situation, conducted via questionnaire and using determined statistical data. A research problem related to the work is the issue of whether Poděbrady is prepared, using all of its potential from the natural, technical, historic and cultural attractiveness of the town and its direct surroundings, to find and uncover other potential ways of improving the range of services offered to visitors to Poděbrady and increasing tourism levels. This work was authored using a method involving analysis, description of individual points of attraction in Poděbrady and statistical data processing. A comparison method was also used in the case of certain points of attraction. For the purposes of determining other interesting information, the method of empirical research was used, involving surveying and collecting primary data via questionnaire. The first theoretical part of the work focuses on definition of the theoretical terms related to the tourism sector. This part specifies and defines the term "tourism" and its brief history in the town of Poděbrady, its types and forms and mainly also expectations for development of tourism. The analytical part has been prepared based on an analysis and available statistical data. The statistical data have been presented in tables and graphs for clearer orientation. This part focuses on evaluating the range of offered tourism services in Poděbrady and familiarisation with the points of attraction in the town and its surroundings. Accommodation and dining facilities are evaluated, along with traffic and transport accessibility as well as options for spending free time. The proposal part specifies the shortcomings of the determined situation and presents suggestions and recommendations that could improve tourism services in the town.
