Use of LED lights for plant acceleration in greenhouses

Abstract:

Cílem této práce je zhodnotit vliv doplňkového přisvětlování LED sví-tidly na produkci rostlin ve sklenících. V teoretické části je provedena literární rešerše o vlivu vlnových délek na rostliny, vhodném spek-trálním složení světla pro rostliny a stručný popis využití LED světel ve skleníku a jejich porovnání s ostatními vybranými zdroji umělého osvětlení. V experimentální části je porovnání hmotnosti, velikosti lis-tové plochy a spotřeby energie při pěstování salátu pod různými in-tenzitami hodnot PFD. Závěrem je vyhodnocení výsledků a doporuče-né osvětlení pro rostliny. Tato práce přispívá k rozvoji moderních technologií pro skleníkové zahradnictví a nabízí možnost zlepšení kvality výtěžnosti rostlin s nižšími energetickými náklady.

Abstract:

The aim of this work is to evaluate the effect of additional lighting with LED lamps on the production of plants in greenhouses. In the theoretical part, a literature search is carried out on the influence of wavelengths on plants, the appropriate spectral composition of light for plants and a brief description of the use of LED lights in the greenhouse and their comparison with other selected sources of artificial lighting. In the experimental part, there is a comparison of the weight, size of the leaf area and energy consumption during the cultivation of lettuce under different intensities of PFD values. The conclusion is an evaluation of the results and recommended lighting for plants. This work contributes to the development of modern technologies for greenhouse horticulture and offers the possibility of improving the quality of plant yield with lower energy costs.
