Economic Analysis and Financial Management - of chosen organisation from public administration

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou hospodaření vybrané Městské části Praha 10 a hospodaření Hlavního města Praha. Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část a soustředí se na objasnění pojmů spojených s hospodařením, představení obou organizací a následně na analýzu hospodaření daných organizací veřejné správy. K práci jsou využity závěrečné účty Městské části Praha 10, zprávy o plnění rozpočtu Hlavního města Prahy a databáze Ministerstva financí MONITOR, která poskytuje cenné zdroje, potřebné k provedení analýzy hospodaření. Součástí práce je i návrh doporučení pro tyto organizace, jak do budoucna v hospodaření pokračovat.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the financial management of two selected organisations – the financial management of the selected city district of Prague 10 and the financial management of the City of Prague. The paper is divided into two parts – the theoretical and practical parts. The main focus is the concepts related to management, such as the introduction of both organizations and the analysis of financial management of the chosen public administration organizations. The analysis is based on closing accounts of the city districts of Prague 10, the budget implementation reports of the City of Prague and on a database MONITOR. This database is created by the Ministry of Finance. It provides valuable sources for the financial analysis as well as sources for comparing multiple organisations in Czech Republic. The paper also includes a recommendation for management of these organisations for the future.
