Bakalářská práce se zabývá systémem péče o ohroţené děti a rodiny. Věnuje se jednotlivým formám náhradní péče a jejich vývoji. Cílem práce je nastínit proces transformace ústavní péče v České republice, zejména v Pardubickém kraji. Hlouběji se věnuje oficiálním dokumentům, podle kterých je transformace utvářena.
