Bakalářská práce je rozdělená do tří částí. První teoretická část je rozdělena na část obecnou a speciální. V obecné části se věnuji obecné anatomii kloubu, vývoji totální endoprotézy kolenního kloubu, používaným materiálům, indikacím a kontraindikacím k operaci a jejím komplikacím.
