Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá rekonstrukcí jedné rozvětvené ostravské rodiny. Na jednotlivých generacích je ukázáno, jaké volily strategie pro přežití a jak se během let měnily. V práci se setkáváme s nejrůznějšími lidskými příběhy, které dokreslují chod tehdejší společnosti a zhmotňují osoby zapsané v matrikách. Demografické kapitoly se věnují nejen sňatečnosti, porodnosti a úmrtnosti, ale také migraci, která byla nedílnou součástí života našich předků.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with the tracing of lineages of one family from Ostrava. There is described - how survival strategies have been chosen by generation and how they have changed over the years. There is a variety of human stories that illustrates society of those days. The people registred in the registers and their fate are materialized. Demographic chapters deal not only with marriage, birth rates and mortality, but also with migration which was an integral part of our ancestors' lives.
