The working conditions of midwives and nurses on gynecology and obstetrics department

Abstract:

Hlavním tématem bakalářské práce je psychická a fyzická náročnost práce všeobecných sester a porodních asistentek na gynekologickém a porodnickém oddělení. Psychická náročnost a její důsledky budeme sledovat a hodnotit výskytem syndromu vyhoření a stresu na daných pracovištích gynekologie, porodnice. Hlavním cílem bakalářské práce je posoudit pracovní podmínky sester za účelem návrhu opatření na prevenci syndromu vyhoření a stresu. Teoretická část bakalářské práce je zaměřená především na získání odborných a vědeckých informací v dané oblasti jako podklad pro vlastní sledování této problematiky v praxi. Empirickou část bakalářské práce tvoří vlastní průzkum psychosociální zátěže sester na vybraných gynekologicko-porodnických odděleních. Metodickým základem je mezinárodní projekt koordinovaný SLIC (Senior Labour Inpectors Committee). Získané výsledky budou sloužit k posouzení zátěže sester, příčin jejího vzniku a k možným návrhům preventivních opatření.

Abstract:

The main topic of this thesis is the mental and physical demands of the work of nurses and midwives to gynecology and obstetrics department. The psychological complexity and its consequences will monitor and evaluate the incidence of burnout and stress of the workplace - gynecology hospital. The main objective of this thesis is to assess the working conditions of nurses to propose measures to prevent burnout and stress. The theoretical part of the thesis is focused on the acquisition of technical and scientific information in the field as a basis for self-monitoring of this issue in practice. Empirical part of my work is the exploration of psychosocial stress sisters on chosed departments. Methodological basis is an international project coordinated by SLIC (Senior Labour Inpectors Committee). The results will be used to assess the burden of nurses, its cause and possible proposals for preventive measures.
