Influence of selected personality characteristics of the manager on the group atmosphere

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá vlivem vybraných osobnostních charakteristik manažerana psychologickou atmosféru pracoviště. Práce je rozdělena na dvě části –teoretickou část a praktickou část. První část se zaměřuje na vysvětlení a objasněnípojmů potřebných v praktické části. Druhá část, tedy část praktická, obsahuje předevšímvyhodnocení zjištěných výsledků, které byly získány pomocí metody dotazníku.Cílem práce je identifikovat a analyzovat vybrané osobnostní rysy manažera a určit,zda mají vliv na psychologickou atmosféru zaměstnanců ve vybrané nejmenovanéorganizaci. Výsledky dotazníkového šetření jsou následně zpracovány za pomocí korelacedílčích výsledků. Mimo jiné se práce zabývá také určením vztahu mezi těmitovybranými osobnostními rysy manažerů a spokojeností pracovníků, která je získánana základě interního dotazníku firmy. Dále nastiňuje teorii, kde vybraný osobnostnírys manažera má přímou závislost na psychologické atmosféře a spokojenosti napracovišti u oddělení s kreativním charakterem práce, a naopak existuje nepřímá závislostna odděleních s rutinním charakterem práce.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the influence of selected personality characteristics of the manager on the psychological atmosphere of the workplace. The thesis is divided into two parts, the theoretical part and the practical part. The first part focuses on explaining and clarifying the concepts needed in the practical part. The second part, practical part, contains mainly the evaluation of the results obtained using the questionnaire method. The aim of the thesis is to identify and analyze selected personality traits of managers and to determine whether they influence the psychological atmosphere of employees in the selected unnamed organization. The results of the questionnaire survey are then processed using the correlation of partial results. This work also deals with the determination of the relationship between these selected personality traits of managers and the satisfaction of workers, which is obtained on the basis of an internal questionnaire of the company. Furthermore, it outlines a theory where the selected personality traits of a manager have a direct impact on psychological atmosphere and satisfaction in the workplace of those departments that are more creative conversely, it shows that these traits have an indirect impact on departments with a routine type of work.
