Possibilities of Physiotherapy in a lumbar herniated Disc

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou výhřezu meziobratlové ploténky bederní páteře a možnostmi jeho řešení v rámci fyzioterapie. Bakalářská práce je členěna do dvou částí - teoretické a praktické. Teoretická část se zabývá kineziologií a biomechanikou páteře a meziobratlových plotének. Dále jsou zde uvedeny typy výhřezu, nejčastější příčiny vzniku, klinické projevy, vyšetřovací metody a léčebné metody vhodné k terapii. V praktické části této bakalářské práce jsou pak zpracovány 4 kazuistiky jednotlivých pacientů s již diagnostikovaným, konzervativně řešeným, výhřezem meziobratlové ploténky v bederní oblasti. U každé kazuistiky je uvedena anamnéza, vstupní a výstupní vyšetření, krátkodobý i dlouhodobý rehabilitační plán. Jednotlivá vyšetření i cviky jsou detailně popsány. Ke konci bakalářské práce jsou uvedeny použité zdroje, seznam obrázků, tabulek, zkratek a přiložené přílohy. Z výsledku kazuistického šetření bylo zjištěno, že po terapii u většiny pacientů dojde ke snížení bolesti, u poloviny pak dochází ke zlepšení ergonomie sedu a ke zlepšení provedení bráničního testu. Výsledky však závisí na aktivitě a spolupráci pacienta.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis concerned with the issue of intervertebral discs herniation in the lumbar spine and with possiblities of solution in physiotherapy. The theoretical part is dealing with kinesiology and biomechanics of the spine and spinal discs. After that the types of prolapse, the most common causes of formation, clinical demonstrations, diagnosis and treatment methods suitable for therapy are mentioned. In the practical part of this thesis there are then processed four case histories of individual patients with already diagnosed, conservatively solved prolapse of spinal disc in the lumbar area. In each case history is presented anamnesis, input and output examinations and short and long term rehabilitation plan. Individual examinations and exercises are described in details. Towards the end of the thesis there are listed used sources, list of images, tables, abbreviations and enclosed attachments. From the result of case history investigation, it was found that after treatment the majority of patients have reduced pain, half of patients then have improved ergonomics of sitting and have improved execution of diaphragm test. However, the results depend on the patient activity and cooperation.
