Automated external defibrillator in the Moravian-Silesian region

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá znalostmi laické veřejnosti v poskytování první pomoci při náhlé zástavě oběhu a mapováním automatizovaných externích defibrilátorů v Moravskoslezském kraji. Práce je rozdělena na dvě části. První teoretická rozebírá problematiku náhlé zástavy oběhu, arytmií, základní neodkladné resuscitace a automatizovaných externích defibrilátorů. Druhá praktická část pomocí dotazníkového šetření zjišťuje znalosti laické veřejnosti v poskytování první pomoci při náhlé zástavě oběhu. Výsledky znalostí laické veřejnosti jsou srovnány s prací Jany Zezulové z roku 2007. Cílem je zjistit, zda po uplynutí 7 let došlo k progresi znalostí. V rámci praktické části jsou dále emailově kontaktovány subjekty, u nichž předpokládám možnost disponování automatizovaným externím defibrilátorem. Předpoklad se soustřeďuje na místa s vysokou koncentrací osob a vysoce riziková místa z hlediska četnosti náhlé zástavy oběhu. Úkolem je získat potřebná data o poloze těchto přístrojů spolu s kontakty na prostory či osoby v místě jejich lokalizace, a následně vytvořit mapu pro možnost prezentování výsledků mapování automatizovaných externích defibrilátorů.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with the knowledge of the general public in first aid for sudden cardiac arrest and mapping of automated external defibrillators in the Moravian-Silesian region. The work is divided into two parts. The first theoretical analyses problems of sudden cardiac arrest, arrhythmia, basic resuscitation and automated external defibrillators. The second practical part through a questionnaire survey examines knowledge the general public in first aid for sudden cardiac arrest. Results knowledge of the general public are compared with the work of Jane Zezulová in 2007. Objective is to determine whether the expiry of 7 years progressed knowledge. In the practical part are then contacted by email subjects who assume the possibility of disposing of an automated external defibrillator. The premise focuses on areas with high concentrations of people and high-risk areas in terms of the frequency of sudden cardiac arrest. The challenge is to get the necessary data about the location of these devices together with the contact person on the premises or at the place of their location, and then create a map for the opportunity to present the results of the mapping of automated external defibrillators.
