Comprehensive rehabilitation of individuals with several afflictions

Abstract:

Předložená diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou ucelené rehabilitační péče ve výchově a vzdělávání. Cílem této práce bylo analyzovat edukační proces žáků a využívání podpůrných metod u žáků s kombinovaným postižením v Základní škole a mateřské škole Naděje a zhodnotit vývoj jednotlivých žáku na základě edukačně hodnotícího profilu a speciálně pedagogické diagnostiky v období dvou let. Teoretická část se zabývá popisem a charakteristikou dětí s vybranými typy postižení a kombinovanými vadami. Dále pak jsou zde popsány složky i metody komplexní rehabilitační péče a také předpoklady pro úspěšný rozvoj v oblasti ucelené rehabilitace. Popsána jsou i specifika edukace jako bazální stimulace, ergoterapie, alternativní a augmentativní komunikace a materiálně technické prostředky edukace. Praktická část je vytvořena jako část výzkumná. Zde je stručně charakterizováno sledované zařízení. Jsou zpracovány kazuistiky žáků i výsledky kvalitativního výzkumu na základě edukačně hodnotícího profilu, obsahové analýzy dokumentů a pozorování. Je analyzován edukační proces s využitím podpůrných metod u žáků s těžkým kombinovaným postižením a je zde zhodnocen vývoj jednotlivých žáků v několika sledovaných oblastech v období let 2005 až 2007.

Abstract:

The presented thesis deals with the problems of complex rehabilitative care in educational and pedagogical process. The aim of this thesis is to analyze educational process and use of supportive methods of pupils with combined afflictions as well as to evaluate their individual development during a period of two years on the basic of educationally evaluative profile and special pedagogy diagnostic tests. The research was conducted at the Nursery and Primary school „Hope“. The theory part describes and characterizes children with specific types of afflictions and combined handicaps. Further, it gives an account of methods of complex rehabilitative care and premises for successful development in an area of complex rehabilitation. It also features the specifications of education as basal stimulation, ergo therapy, alternative and augmentative communication and materially technical means of education. The practical part is a research. There is a short characteristic of earlier mentioned educational institution followed by case reports of pupils, results of qualitative research (based on the educationally evaluative profile), content analysis of documents and observations. The educational process (with the use of supportive methods for children with serious combined afflictions) is analysed and evaluated. The results or development of individual pupils is presented in several observed areas. The research was conducted during 2005 and 2007.
