Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá současnou městskou subkulturou hipster a částečně i nově se formující subkulturou yuccies. Práce je členěna do tří tematických celků. První kapitola začíná stručným teoretickým vymezením základních pojmů – kultura, masa, scéna, životní styl, mainstream a kontrakultura. Tématu subkultur a jejich stylům je dán větší prostor, neboť prostupují celou prací a ukazují, na jakých základech tyto současné městské subkultury (hipsteři, yuccies) pracují. Druhý celek je již konkrétně zaměřen na subkulturu hipsterů od jejího názvosloví a významu až po historický exkurz a vývoj, který je třeba uvést k pochopení vzniku určitých charakteristik a stylů. Krátce se zde hovoří o módních znacích, tzv. hipster trendu a cool stylu. Uvádějí se přístupy ke zkoumání této subkultury v pojetí autorů Richarda Lloyda, Marka Greifa a Richarda Floridy. Závěr druhé kapitoly tvoří zmínka o nově se rodící subkultuře yuccies. Poslední oddíl se zabývá kreativní ekonomikou a jejími částmi – kreativním průmyslem, kreativní třídou, koncepty kreativních měst a kreativních klastrů s důrazem na koncept kreativní třídy Richarda Floridy a kreativní ekonomiku v lokálním kontextu. Lokálním zde myslíme území města Brna.

Abstract:

This bachelor’s thesis deals with the contemporary urban hipster subculture and partly also with the newly formed subculture yuccies. The work is divided into three thematic units. The first chapter begins with a brief theoretical definition of basic concepts – culture, mass, scene, lifestyle, mainstream and counterculture. There is more space given to the topic of subcultures and their styles, because they permeate the entire work and indicate on what basis these contemporary urban subcultures (hipsters, yuccies) work. The second part is specifically focused on subculture of hipsters from its terminology and meaning to its historical background and development, which should be shown to understanding the formation of certain characteristics and styles. Shortly here we are talking about fashion character called hipster trend and the style of cool. They are given three approaches to the study of the subculture by authors - Richard Lloyd, Mark Greif and Richard Florida. The conclusion of the second chapter consists mention of the newly emerging subculture yuccies. The last section deals with the creative economy and its components - creative industries, creative class, creative city and creative clusters, with emphasis on the concept of the creative class by Richard Florida and the creative economy in a local context. We are thinking the local in the city Brno.
