Non-traditional students in complementary pedagogical study

Abstract:

Tato magisterská diplomová práce se zabývá netradičními studenty v doplňujícím pedagogickém studiu. Cílem práce je popsat, jak netradiční studenti vypovídají o doplňujícím pedagogickém studiu, přičemž práce je zaměřena především na důvody pro zapojení se do studia, průběh studia a dopady studia na kariérní dráhu jedince. Diplomová práce je standardně rozdělena na teoretickou a empirickou část. Teoretická část se věnuje pojetí konceptů vztahujících se k celoživotnímu učení, netradičním studentům a kariérní změně v souvislosti se vzděláváním. V rámci empirické části práce je představena metodologie a následně jsou prezentovány výsledky výzkumu prováděného prostřednictvím polostrukturovaných rozhovorů a jejich interpretace. Na základě prováděného výzkumného šetření jsem došla k několika zjištěním. Za nejzásadnější považuji nahlížení netradičních studentů na doplňující pedagogické studium jako na tzv. zadní vrátka.

Abstract:

This master's thesis deals with non-traditional students in complementary pedagogical studies. The aim of the work is to describe how non-traditional students testify about complementary pedagogical studies, while the work is mainly focused on the reasons for joining the study, the course of the study and the impact of the study on the individual's career path. The diploma thesis is normally divided into a theoretical and an empirical part. The theoretical part is devoted to the conception of lifelong learning, non-traditional students and career change in connection with education. As part of the empirical part of the work, the methodology is presented, and then the results of the research conducted through semi-structured interviews and their interpretation are presented. Based on the conducted research, I came to several findings. I consider it most fundamental that non-traditional students view additional pedagogical studies as a so-called back door.
