Non-financial form of business support and its potential for the development of entrepreneurial activities

Abstract:

Diplomová práce s názvem Nefinanční forma podpory podnikání a její potenciál pro rozvoj podnikatelských aktivit zkoumá vliv zvolené nefinanční formy podpory podnikání s ohledem na rozvoj podnikatelských aktivit oslovených subjektů. Teoretická část práce se zabývá obecným konceptem podpory podnikání, kdy jej rozděluje na formu finanční a nefinanční, přičemž důraz je s ohledem na téma diplomové práce dán zvláště na formy nefinanční. Tyto formy jsou detailně popsány a zasazeny do kontextu v rámci podnikatelského ekosystému a podnikatelské infrastruktury. Teoretickou část poté uzavírá definice pojmů, jenž jsou související. Po teoretické části následuje část metodická. Úkolem této části je popsat metodiku, se kterou autor přistoupil k realizovanému výzkumu v rámci části praktické. Autor zde uvádí do tématu, diskutuje výběr vhodných metod sběru a analýzy dat včetně jejich předností a limitací. Samotná praktická část práce poté syntetizuje metodickou, a částečně také teoretickou část, do provedeného výzkumu, kdy byly vedeny rozhovory s jednotlivými zakladateli společností a následně tyto rozhovory byly analyzovány tematickou analýzou za účelem zjištění impaktu aktivit a činností podnikatelských inkubátorů na rozvoj podnikatelských aktivit jednotlivých respondentů.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis entitled Non-financial form of business support and its potential for the development of entrepreneurial activities examines the impact of the chosen non- financial form of business support with regard to the development of entrepreneurial activities of the addressed subjects. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the general concept of entrepreneurial support, dividing it into financial and non-financial forms, with particular emphasis on non- financial forms with regard to the topic of the thesis. These forms are described in detail and placed in context within the entrepreneurial ecosystem and entrepreneurial infrastructure. The theoretical part then concludes with definitions of related terms. The theoretical part is followed by a methodological part. The purpose of this part is to describe the methodology with which the author approached the research carried out in the practical part. Here the author introduces the topic, discusses the selection of appropriate methods of data collection and analysis, including their strengths and limitations. The practical part of the thesis then synthetizes the methodological part of the research carried out, where interviews were conducted with individual company founders and then these interviews were analysed by means of thematic analysis in order to determine the impact of the activities and services of business incubators on the development of business activities of individual respondents.
