Abstract:
Lesní hospodářství v dnešní podobě představuje hrozbu pro celou řadu lesních druhů. Především kvůli výsadbě smrkových monokultur, které vytváří nehostinné a kyselé prostředí, nevhodné pro většinu druhů. V hospodářských lesích navíc nejsou zastoupeny všechny věkové skupiny stromů, protože stromy jsou po dosažení optimálního stáří pokáceny a odvezeny z lesa pryč. Forest management in its current form poses a threat to a whole range of forest species. Mainly due to the planting of spruce monocultures, which creates an inhospitable acidic environment that is unsuitable for most species.
