Injuries in inline skating

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá výskytem zranění rekreačních inline bruslařů. Cílem této práce je popsání nejčetnějších zranění a jejich vliv na délku provozování inline bruslení a jejich následná prevence. Analýza je provedena prostřednictvím nestandardizovaného dotazníku s počtem 351 respondentů a zaměřením na závažná zranění, kde je počet respondentů ze 153 snížen na 115, a to z důvodu neúplného vyplnění dotazníku. Nejčetnější výskyt zranění je mezi 6 měsícem až 8 rokem bruslení (48 %). Mezi nejčastější zranění patří závažnější odřeniny (38 %). Nejčastější zraněná část těla je zápěstí (24 %), koleno (23 %) a loket (15 %). V době zranění nemělo (72 %) respondentů ochranné vybavení. Jako prevence by sloužilo používání ochranného vybavení.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis comprises the occurrence of injuries of recreational inline skaters. Aim of this work is to find out what are the most common injuries and their impact on the length of inline skating and subsequent prevention. Analysis is done by using a non-standardized questionnaire acquired from 351 respondents and is focused on injuries, where the number of respondents is reduced from 153 to 115 due to incomplete completion of the questionnaire. The most frequent occurrence of injuries is between 6 months and 8 years (48%). More frequent injuries include significant abrasions (38%). The most common injured part of the body is the wrist (24%), knee (23%) and elbow (15%). At the time of injury (72%) respondents were not using protective equipment. To prevent injuries people should use protective gear.
