Cílem této práce je přiblížení situace v oblasti imigrační a azylové politiky ve Velké Británii. Stručně popisuje vývoj imigrace na území dnešní Británie a pokouší se o nástin současné zahraniční politiky, jejíž součástí jsou pracovní programy řízené migrace.
