Physiotherapeutic management for the rehabilitation of a sports patient following fracture of the radius and ulna with involvement of the interosseous membrane: clinical case

Abstract:

Physiotherapy management for patient rehabilitation, following fracture of the radius and ulna, with involvement of the interosseous membrane, requires careful organization of rehabilitation programs (Handel 2015). There are various types of treatment for the different functions of the injured part: joint rehabilitation, muscle rehabilitation and proprioceptive rehabilitation (Suchomel 2018). This topic will be studied in depth, taking for example the clinical case of a 28-year-old patient with radius and ulna fracture and slight involvement of the interosseous membrane, and operated following this. The treatments put in place for the recovery of joint mobility will prove to be helpful.

Abstract:

La gestione fisioterapica per la riabilitazione del paziente, in seguito a frattura del radio e dell'ulna, con interessamento della membrana interossea, richiede un'attenta organizzazione dei programmi di riabilitazione (Handel 2015). Esistono varie tipologie di trattamento per le diverse funzioni della parte lesa: riabilitazione articolare, riabilitazione muscolare e riabilitazione propriocettiva. (Suchomel 2018). Tale argomento sar? approfondito, portando ad esempio il caso clinico di un paziente di 28 anni con frattura di radio e ulna e lieve interessamento della membrana interossea, e operato a seguito di questa. I trattamenti messi in atto per il recupero della mobilit? articolare si riveleranno di grande aiuto.
