Nutrition for actively participating children in the second degrees elementary schools

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá výživou u aktivně sportujících dětí na 2. stupni základních škol. Nejprve jsem definovala stravu nesportujících a sportujících dětí jaká je jejich energetická potřeba, optimální příjem živin, vitamínů, minerálních látek, důležitost pitného režimu. V další části jsem se zabývala ideálními a dostupnými produkty v našich obchodních řetězcích, které jsou vhodné pro děti provozující sportovní pohybovou aktivitu. Nastínila jsem pár konkrétních příkladů vhodných potravin, které mohou být prospěšné rodičům při výběru a nákupu pro své ratolesti, ale i pro samotné kupující děti. Praktická část má výzkumný charakter. Výzkumná sonda si klade za cíl zjistit, jaké jsou výživové zvyklosti u aktivně sportujících dětí na 2. stupni základních škol. Zajímala mě četnost konzumace jednotlivých potravinových výrobků během uplynulého týdne, preference sportovních pohybových aktivit, určitých druhů potravin a pitný režim u aktivně a neaktivně sportujících žáků na jednotlivých vybraných typech škol.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with nutrition of actively sporting children in elementary schools, aged 11-15. First I defined nutrition of children who do sports and children who don't - in terms of their energy needs, optimal intake of nutrients, vitamins, mineral substances and importance of drinking regime. In the following part of my thesis I focused on suitable and available products in our chain stores, which are appropriate for actively sporting children. I suggested a few specific examples of suitable comestibles which can be helpful for parents when buying groceries for their children, but also for the kids shopping for themselves. The practical part is in the form of research. The survey's target is identifying nutrition habits of actively sporting children, aged 11-15. I focused mainly on the frequency of consumption of particular products during the previous week, preferences of sport activities, certain kinds of groceries and drinking regime of children doing sports actively and also those doing sports just for fun in selected types of schools.
