Abstract:
Tato diplomová práce se zabývá stylistickou anylýzou jazykových útvarů angličtiny v románu Roddyho Doyla Oh Play That Thing. Práce shrnuje americkou, africko-americkou a irskou angličtinu po teoretické stránce, stejně tak slang, a v praktické části se zabývá ukazateli těchto jazykových útvarů v úryvcích z románu.
Abstract:
The thesis deals with stylistic analysis of varieties of English in Roddy Doyle s novel Oh Play That Thing. The work summarizes American, African American and Irish English on theoretical basis, as well as slang, and in the practical part it looks for particular markers of the varieties in excerpts from the novel
