Strategic analysis of the company (VAFO Praha s.r.o.)

Abstract:

V této bakalářské práci bude provedena strategická analýza podniku VAFO Praha s.r.o. Cílem práce je vymezení klíčových faktorů ovlivňujících celkový výnosový potenciál podniku působícího na trhu s krmivy pro psy s následnou formulací dlouhodobé strategie. Práce se dělí na teoretickou a praktickou část. V teoretické části budou popsány jednotlivé metody analýzy vnějšího a vnitřního prostředí, které vychází z literatury uvedené na konci práce a v praktické části budou tyto metody použity pro provedení samotné analýzy podniku VAFO Praha s.r.o. V rámci analýzy makrookolí bude provedena analýza PEST, v rámci analýzy mikrookolí poté analýza odvětví, konkurence, životního cyklu odvětví a analýza trhu s krmivy pro psy za pomoci Porterova modelu 5 sil. Analýza vnitřních zdrojů a schopností bude provedena za pomoci analýzy zdrojů a finanční analýzy. Závěrem budou shrnuta důležitá zjištění v analýze SWOT a následně dojde k formulaci strategie a doporučení podniku.

Abstract:

In this bachelor thesis a strategic analysis of the company VAFO Praha s.r.o. will be performed. The aim of the thesis is to define the key factors influencing the overall revenue potential of the company operating in the market of dog food with the subsequent formulation of a long-term strategy. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part will describe the various methods of analysis of the external and internal environment, which is based on the literature described at the end of the thesis, and in the practical part, these methods will be used to perform the analysis of the company VAFO Prague s.r.o. As part of the macro-environment analysis, PEST analysis will be performed, as part of the micro-environment analysis, industry, competition, industry life cycle analysis will be performed, and the dog food market analysis will be performed using Porter's 5 Forces model. The analysis of internal resources and capabilities will be performed with the help of resource analysis and financial analysis. Finally, important findings will be summarized in the SWOT analysis and then the company's strategy and recommendations will be formulated.
