Šíření lidských práv a demokracie patří mezi součásti zahraniční politiky EU. EU ve snaze prosazovat lidská práva a demokracii ve světě zřídila Evropskou iniciativu pro demokracii a lidská práva. Abstract:
Promotion of human rights and democracy is part of the aims of common foreign policy. EU founded the European Initiative for democracy and human rights to promote human rights and democracy in the third countries.
