Proposal of Improvised Camp for People Infected with Highly Contagious Disease

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou vysoce nakažlivých nemocí a jejich řešení pomocí improvizovaných táborů s důrazem na fungování a výstavbu těchto objektů. K výzkumu přispěli zaměstnanci vojenské polní nemocnice a krajské hygienické stanice. Výsledkem šetření je, že samotný karanténní tábor není dostatečným opatřením k řešení šíření nákazy, a proto byl navržen kompromis, který si zakládá právě na zapojení polní vojenské nemocnice. V závěru práce jsou vyhodnoceny rizika, se kterými se tábor může setkat a dále je tábor jako takový vyhodnocen pomocí analýzy SWOT.

Abstract:

This bachelor's thesis deals with the issue of highly contagious diseases and their solutions using improvised camps with emphasis on the functioning and construction of these facilities. Employees of the military field hospital and the regional hygienic station contributed to the research. The result of the investigation is that the quarantine camp alone is not a sufficient measure to address the spread of the disease, and therefore a compromise has been proposed, which is based on the involvement of a field military hospital. At the end of the work, the risks that the camp may encounter are evaluated, and furthermore, the camp as such is evaluated using SWOT analysis.
