Position of a dominant company on an oligopolistic market

Abstract:

Práce se věnuje mikroekonomickému pojetí nedokonalé konkurence, přesněji oligopolnímu trhu a jeho specifické podobě s dominantní firmou. V práci jsou pro analýzu tohoto typu oligopolu využity nové poznatky z teorie redistribučních systémů a kontextuálních her, které vychází z klasické teorie her. V aplikační části práce jsou tyto teoretické poznatky implementovány na konkrétní firmu a zejména kontextuální hry slouží k vysvětlení chování dominantní firmy na oligopolním trhu. Je poukázáno na různé typy kontextuálních her, které se mohou hrát, jak je rozpoznat a jak se proti nim bránit.

Abstract:

Dissertetion is focused on microeconomical concept of imperfect competition, rather to oligopolistic market and its form with dominant company. In presentation there are mentioned new knowledge from redistribution system theory and theory of contextual games. In aplication part of dissertation are these theoretical knowledges implemented on actual company. Especially contextual games tend to explaining behaviour of dominant company of oligopolistic market. Dissertation refer to different types of contextual games that can by applied, how to recognize them and how to guard against them.
